"What JLT is doing for me is incredible," says McRae. "Traditionally British drivers have struggled to raise the finance to compete at the highest levels, but JLT has helped me overcome this hurdle."

In a recent interview in Britain's leading specialist newspaper, Motorsport News, JLT's Head of Corporate Relations, Paul Dransfield, explained:

"The benefits are three-fold. Firstly, it helps JLT increase its brand awareness. This is very important as we are the largest quoted European insurance broker. However, just as importantly, it is yet another way we can demonstrate that we are the employer of choice in our industry. Thirdly, our support of rallying provides us with fantastic opportunities to entertain clients. You can't better taking someone out for a run in a rally car."

As Britain's leading contender in world rallying, Alister is perfectly poised to capitalise on the World Rally Championship's status as one of the fastest growing sports on television, with coverage of the high-speed, high-tech battles poised to reach one billion viewers during the course of the upcoming 2004 season.
