John Thompson
John is Head of Placement with a primary role of
bringing co-ordination and a market focus to the Construction Division.
He also ensures the building of long-term strategies in the placing of
major projects.
John joined Sedgwick in 1980 as a junior account handler in their UK team, moving two years later to the broking team which he headed up in 1994. After Sedgwick was taken over by Marsh he took over control of the merged broking team for Marsh. He joined JLT in 2005. He has been involved in and led the placement on many major projects around the world including the Far East, Australia and the USA as well as in the UK.
