Paul Knowles is a Divisional Managing Director of our Construction Division.

Career Overview

Paul is a leading expert in providing risk and insurance advice to major project finance transaction for both Construction and Operational Risks, as well as traditional projects. Paul began his career at Sedgwick, where he undertook a number of roles both in the UK and Eastern Europe, before specialising in the Construction and Power Sector. Paul joined JLT in 1996 as part of the new UK Private Finance Initiative team. During his time with JLT Paul led its growth to become the largest team in the UK market. Paul is an Associate of the Chartered Insurance Institute and holds an MBA and BA (Hons) in Economics. He currently chairs the insurance group for the PPP Forum and is involved in developing new risk and insurance solutions to both Construction and Operational Project Finance transactions.
