Environmental Policy

JLT remains committed to minimising any adverse impact its businesses have on the environment.

In support of this commitment we have recently introduced a new Group Environmental Policy and our internal communication of this has been supported by the development of a special area within our intranet devoted to this ongoing project.

To encourage staff participation we have deliberately avoided producing lengthy policy documents and have instead agreed ten key commitments, which have been endorsed by Group CEO, Dominic Burke.

These clear goals enable us to measure our success against the targets for the reduction of energy, paper consumption and increased recycling targets.

In addition to this Group commitment, local business management is responsible for enforcing standards in line with legal responsibilities and obligations and managing risks associated with environmental matters.
