Captive Management - Bermuda

As one of Bermuda's leading providers of insurance management services, we currently manage more than 50 captives, with assets in excess of US$3 billion and writing more than US$1 billion of annual gross premium.

Our primary source of business is the United States, but we also have clients from Latin America, Europe and Asia, as Bermuda remains the domicile of choice for many people wishing to establish captive insurance companies.

We can also offer Rent-a-captive or Segregated Account facility through Isosceles Insurance Ltd, which was established by us in 1997.

A Rent-A-Captive is an alternative to establishing your own captive and can also be used for niche insurance or reinsurance transactions.

Benefits of setting up a rent-a-captive include:

• lower or no start up costs
• lower exit costs
• less lead time for establishment
• no board structure required - the Isosceles companies have established boards
• no visits to the domicile required
• lower operating costs.

By creating Segregated Accounts (cells), Isosceles can place and separate your assets and liabilities from those of other clients.

Isosceles has capital and surplus of US$150,000. This capital is for regulatory purposes only and is not available to Cell users. Segregated Account company structures rely on contractual protections rather than balance sheet size.
