1972 - Formation of JIB (Jardine Insurance Brokers)

JIB Group came into being when Jardine Matheson decided to develop its then small insurance broking business in the early 1970's. The JIB Group grew rapidly through both organic growth and acquisition and when it floated on the London Stock Exchange in November 1991, had a market capitalisation of £213,000,000.
