JLT expands its presence in Norway with the acquisition of Tripol AS
30th December 2010, London: Jardine Lloyd Thompson (JLT) announces that it has acquired Tripol AS, an Oslo based insurance broker specialising in the Real Estate and Construction business.
The business has been acquired from the 7 employee shareholders of Tripol who will all remain with the business. The operation will be merged with JLT existing operation in Norway and be lead by the current MD of Tripol Ola Haalien, reporting to Henrik Rydén, CEO of JLT's Nordic region business.
Adrian Girling, Chairman of JLT's Continental European broking activities commented. 'We are pleased to welcome Ola Haalien and his team into the JLT Group. Tripol will add significantly to our increasingly important Nordic business activities and with their acknowledged expertise in Construction and Real Estate they add yet more strength to our international capabilities in what are two important JLT specialisms.
