For many providers, claims service is an afterthought, lacking proper planning, resources or investment.  By contrast, we regard claims service as a fundamental and crucial area of service provided to our clients. 

An insurance policy can be thoroughly tested in the aftermath of a claim, and JLT has an exemplary record in this area.  Recognising claims service as a key deliverable, our Claims team is at the front end of the business, not located offsite or outsourced to a third party provider.

We have successfully handled some of the most dramatic losses in the industry including damage to more than 30 aircraft by the Sydney hailstorm (1999), the Concorde loss (2000) and most recently the AF447/A330 tragedy (2009).

JLT Aerospace emphasises the importance of being prepared for a major loss event.  We help you establish the appropriate internal procedures to ensure a quick response in the event of a claim by issuing a Claims Handling Manual at the inception of every insurance policy.  The manual includes notification guidelines and details of information and documentation that will be required to facilitate the handling of your claims.
